Hope you are doing well! February is a special month because of Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day! So we put together two very special celebrations.

One is our crafting night! We are making Taxidermy with plushies. A great vegan alternative that is more cost and eco friendly especially when you “rescue” your plush from the thrift store. Right now tickets are sold out but we are hoping to host more of these in the future.

2026 also marks the year of the Horse! Horse zodiac people (1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, 2026) are energetic, independent, and freedom-loving individuals who thrive on adventure and social interaction. They are charming, witty, and generally popular, yet can be impulsive, impatient, and reckless. To celebrate this magnificent animal we are hosting a horse themed party at Peculiar Nest; where we will hopefully premiere a short shadow puppet show about the Chinese Zodiac Animals.
