ANIMAL PRESENTATIONS

Each program runs for about 30 – 45 minutes and are customizable. In these classes children will have the opportunity to meet 4-5 animals, play games, do arts and craft projects, watch live puppet shows, sing songs, listen to stories and most importantly have fun!
Kindness to Animals – In this program children will learn the basics of being kind to animals. Using nice words, soft voices, and calm bodies; children will practice what they learn by meeting real animals.
New York City Animals – In this program children will explore the wildlife that is found in NYC. From rats to pigeons and roaches too; children will learn some interesting facts and misconceptions about our city neighbors.
The Perfect Pet – Having an animal companion is a big responsibility. In this program children will learn about and be exposed to different animals that make good pets. They will learn the basics of how to properly care for these animals.
Animal Classification – In this program children will learn about the six major animal groups: mammals, amphibians, fish, birds, reptiles, and invertebrates. By examining skeletons, feathers, eggs, and more; children will become zoologists.
Bugology – In this program children will meet and learn about invertebrate friends. Learn about what makes an insect an insect, life-cycles, and the important roles they play on Earth. Children will hopefully develop an understanding and appreciation of the diverse world of bugs.
PokéFriends – In this special program children will learn how similar the Pokémon world is to ours. Many Pokémon are inspired by real animals and children will get to meet a real life Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur!
