PUPPET SHOW WORKSHOPS
“Amo A Mi Perro!” is the story of a girl who discovers that she adopted a dog who only understands Spanish. Participants will get to make their own Dog Marionette Puppet.
“Un/Lucky?” is the story of a black cat who ventures outdoors and has to constantly escape the hands of Death. Participants will get to make their own Leaping Cat Rod Puppet.
“Subway Creatures” is the story of a beloved pet rat who gets lost in the subway and is trying to find his way back to the person he loves the most. Participants will get to make their own Rat Hand Puppet.
ANIMAL PRESENTATION WORKSHOPS
In our Kindness to Animals class, participants got to learn different ways they can show kindness to animals. Afterwards, they will be able to make a Turtle Glove Puppet.
In our New York City Animals class, participants got to meet and learn about the amazing animals that call the city their home. Afterwards, they will be able to make a Roach Marionette.
In our Perfect Pet class, participants got to learn what it means to be a responsible pet guardian. For this workshop you may choose to make either a Swimming Fish Rod Puppet or a to bring home with them.
In our Animal Classification class, participants got to meet and learn about animals in the six major groups. For this workshop you may choose to make either a Pecking Woodpecker, Jumping Frog, or Chameleon Finger Puppet!
In our Bugology class, participants got to meet and learn about insects. For this workshop you may choose to make either a Crawling Caterpillar or Flying Butterfly Puppet!
In our PokéFriends, animal class participants got to meet and learn more about the animals that inspired some of our favorite Pokémon. Afterwards, they will be able to make a Mouse Hand Puppet!
